confusedgeek Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Im a 28 year old guy who works at a company. Have two tickets for a company picnic. However, dont have anyone to ask. I tried to contact my friends, but no luck there. My girlfriend is currently 6000+ miles away, so she pretty much cant make it. It feels like im wasting this spare ticket. Not sure if anyone else ran into this problem. Picnic is tomorrow, so I guess its too late to ask someone out. Even then, not sure who I could ask. Somehow, it feels pretty sad I dont have anyone I could ask to come along with me. I have some co-workers I could hang around with. But even then, my co-workers will bring their friends or family along. I would feel like the odd-man out going by myself. Although, going to the picnic is a good experience as I get to know my co-workers better. Thought I could get this off my chest by posting this and perhaps get some feedback. Thanks in advance. - ConfusedGeek

jerbear Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Just go by yourself. Make a cameo, talk to your co-workers and network a little.
