Had a (first real) relationship of more than 5 years go sour. It had been a lot of half-assed long distance stuff. Hell the past two years we probably were with each other for about 30 days total. Lots of passive aggression going on, I'd say. Anyways I couldn't take it anymore, and broke up with her. It's been a few months, and I'm now over the feelings of trying to get back together.

However, I didn't hold onto the NC rule, and contact is muddying things. We both want to break up, but I believe this part is making things difficult. I'm going to have to lay down the law as she wants to continue contact.

But other than enforcing NC, are there any other things I can be doing to clean up this break? Things have been so distant in the relationship that it doesn't seem hardly any different than when we were together! Thanks!
