CrazyJ Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I am so cranky/sad/mad/furious/every other emotion under the sun.. I have emailed the guy i have been seeing for the past 8 months (who is currently on a 10 week trekking adventure) a few times… and anyway the last email said pls send me a quick reply as I am worried about you and want to know yr still alive after living with a tribe etc.. I was half joking but I thought he would email me back at least to say that he was ok… but nothing..i know he has received and read my emails… and he still hasn’t replied.. I feel sick..i am starting to hate him.. I am so angry right now, I am in between bursting into tears and screaming and yelling at someone... Am I overreacting???

BUT, I know many of my friends, and my causins whom are male, they NEVER call, unless there is an emergency. Why? I don't know, except that I hated to call home and have my Mom, then later my women asked me all kind of stupid questions to check if I was banging some chick while I was on my field trip. (Not my mom, she never asked that, thank God.) -Sapiens
Author CrazyJ Posted July 13, 2006 Author Posted July 13, 2006 I don't know why i expect it he never really did it when he was home, i just thought it might be common courtesy when he is away and we can't speak on the phone or see each other that he would let me know he is okay... I know he probably isnt even thinking of anyone back home while he is having an adventure of a lifetime.. and maybe the only reason i want to hear from him is to know that he still cares... I obviously know he is okay since I know he has received my emails... but i dont think its too hard to send a quick hello either via text or via email when you check it.. So are you saying I shouldnt worry too much about him not contacting, everything is still as per normal??? When i spoke to him last he said "everything is still the same, why would it change".... I guess us females just over analyse everything that is said to us...
