wakeboard_28 Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Well I am sitting here writing after about 3 weeks of being single and somewhat miserable lol... I was in a relationship for about 2 years with a wonderful girl and things ended out of nowhere. I was on duty with the Army for about 2 weeks and before I left she was all over me hugging me and kssing me not wanting me to leave her and said she would miss me. While on duty she began ignoring me and not returning my phone calls. I come back to town for a day to get some things and she dumps me. She says she doesn't love me anymore and she is bored. All of this hit me like a sack of bricks since I didn't see any signs of things getting worse. The part I don't understand is how she begged me and cried and held onto me to stay her friend cause she wouldn't let me leave until I promised to be one. So i gave in and now she has ignored me the past 3 weeks and is hanging all over the guys I work with. Could anyone give me any insight as to why she is doing these things.

I reckon it could be down to a bit of her being insecure and enjoying the fact that she can pick up and drop fellas at her own will. Sounds to me that she's keeping you as a "friend" for when things in her life don't go according to plan (ie, using you when it's convenient to her). But then, she's not much of a friend if she's ignoring you, is she? Do the friends who you hang out with regularly ignore you the way she does? I'd reckon they don't... If she comes running back to you when things aren't working with the next guy in line, by all means, be civil, pass the time of day, etc...but also be firm, and remind her that she's got to sort out her own relationship problems when she's not with you. You're best off without her, be her either a girlfriend or friend...good luck!
Author wakeboard_28 Posted July 13, 2006 Author Posted July 13, 2006 Well come to find out last night after being together for almost 2 years she has already found someone new and its only been maybe 2 weeks since our break-up and its one of my friends from where we both work. I may not be a rocket scientist but doesn't seem weird how someone can get over a relationship that quick and be with someone else already unless something was there already. She has become a completely different person who is not kind or caring or anything at all with what I originally fell in love with.
