Author Sapiens Posted July 12, 2006 Author Posted July 12, 2006 wow. is there a reason why you mentioned the conversation with the woman was a stripper? is there some significance to that? and i may be wrong but it seems like you have a twisted idea of who people are and what a relationship is. looks are not everything. and i'm sorry you believe that there are more ugly women than beautiful ones. i feel sorry for you that beautiful women to you are few and far between. it must be hard to find a good one since there aren't many. if i had the choice between those two men i would not base my decision on who looks better or who has more money or whatever you asked. i would chose the one that i can get along with. the one i feel comfortable with. the one who makes me smile. you know all the good stuff in life. Ok, the point is this.. Good looking women are dime a dozen; smart, good looking women are few are far between. Just like rich, smart and kind men are rare. -Sapiens
Author Sapiens Posted July 12, 2006 Author Posted July 12, 2006 Is it possible that you have the answers to everything Sapiens? Cause if you do I'd like to know when I'm gonna win the lottery? Actually you won't. LOL -Sapiens
Author Sapiens Posted July 12, 2006 Author Posted July 12, 2006 It's just a vibe I'm getting. Starting with beginning a thread with a hypothetical question to voice your own opinion. Ok, let's us close it. Post no more. I will now go and meet some people.. Cheers, Sapiens
mika Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 okay so because studies have shown something that means that nora applies because she is the majority, right? also alpha i bet it seemed like every woman was breaking their necks to look at your car because you looked to see who was looking. some women don't care. and just because someone looks at your car it doesn't mean that they are into you. they just like the car. and any corvettes are not rare so who cares? a lot of people have them. doesn't make you anything special. why can't people leave generalizations out of it. no one can ever answer for everyone on anything. sorry if i sounded pissy. i'm really not pissy.
alphamale Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Did it ever occur to you that they were checking out the CAR? No, they were checking out WHO was in the car. They were making eye contact with MY eyes....
bab Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 No, they were checking out WHO was in the car. They were making eye contact with MY eyes.... I generally check out who is in a sports car because I've noticed the trend where really big guys tend to pick these really tiny cars, and I think it's hilarious. Actually, Corvettes aren't as bad as some of the others, but still, if it was me straining my neck, it was to confirm my suspicion that you were to big for the interior of the car. Not exactly the same as seeing if I would want to jump your bones.
riobikini Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 re: Sapiens: " Now a question for you ladies: If you have two equally handsome and charming men, but one is rich and the other middle class which one would you choose? Please be honest answering and let's see how many questions we can get answered" So Man 'A' is *exactly* the same as Man 'B'. Then I find out that, despite having the *same* really smart kind of brain as Man 'B', -Man 'A' decided to *deliberately* fail his Bar Exam, so he had less of a career and therefore, -less of an income. (Hmmmmm. Suddenly there's a difference, after all.) I couldn't possibly choose Man 'A' because I'd never want children with him;I'd be thinking of that poor example, and how it might rub off, and they might grow up to make the same mistake. I'd be forced to choose smart -and wealthy- Man 'B' as the Cinderellaman of my dreams. (Smile) -Rio
basscatcher Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 No, they were checking out WHO was in the car. They were making eye contact with MY eyes.... If a car catch's my eye (I like cars) I always look to see who is driving and whether or not he is hot!! I tend to find more times then not that the drivers of those nice eye-catching cars are OLDer (60+), OVERWEIGHT, and homely looking.. I think those men reverted to being boys again. They finally were able to fullfill their teenage dream of having a hot car because they spent their retirement on it, the kids are out of college and the bills are paid, the wife died. ONLY now they aren't so hot looking.
bab Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 I tend to find more times then not that the drivers of those nice eye-catching cars are OLDer (60+), OVERWEIGHT, and homely looking.. We are seeing the same guys!!! It's the fat guy little car syndrome that is sweeping the nation!
alphamale Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 If a car catch's my eye (I like cars) I always look to see who is driving and whether or not he is hot!! THAT'S what I'm talking about...generally which cars catch one's eyes??? Usually the expensive ones. I tend to find more times then not that the drivers of those nice eye-catching cars are OLDer (60+), OVERWEIGHT, and homely looking.. Its true that usually its older gentlemen who drive the nicer cars cause they're the only ones to afford them. When I bought my Vette I was 34 and my salesman told me the avg age of a Vette owner is 55

When I bought my Vette I was 34 and my salesman told me the avg age of a Vette owner is 55 It's scary man. I'll be driving down the highway checking out this really nice car and as I pull along side of it (I'm a speed demon.) I see this scary guy peering from behind his steering wheel looking back at me. With dark circles around his eyes, his skin is weather badly, his nose is crooked, he looks like he smokes 4 packs of cigs a day and drinks way too many martini's.. They never smile..
BareGoddess Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 All things being equal a guy would pick the pretty girl over the homely one. And if all things are REALLY equal (impossible but I'll play along) I'd pick the rich one over the poor one of course. And yes, I don't tire of admiring glances from the opposite sex.
alphamale Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 And if all things are REALLY equal (impossible but I'll play along) I'd pick the rich one over the poor one of course. Many women would still pick the rich one even if all things weren't equal
BareGoddess Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Many women would still pick the rich one even if all things weren't equal You're absolutely right...but they're called goldidggers and I"m not one of them!
