Tsiehta Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 For those of you who do not know my story: http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t92040/ Well, today i was down in the company kitchen making some food. i have not seen her for two weeks. She walks into the kitchen. Stops dead in her tracks for a split second. she then goes to get some water. I don't look at her, I'm focusing on fiddling with the microwave. She walks past me on her way out, but I'm pretty sure that she looked at me half expectantly. So, I get back to me desk and there's an email from her: "I did want to say hi in the kitchen just then. I feel rude that I didn't. I'm sorry. I was trying to take your lead because I'm afraid to act the wrong way around you." I reply: "I understand. It's still awkward all around. Hopefully, some day soon it won't be." she responds: "I hope so too. I look forward to being able to talk to you again." I'm not responding any more. anyone find fault with how i handled this?
Author Tsiehta Posted July 13, 2006 Author Posted July 13, 2006 bumping this because I'd like some opinions. Also, i realize that I'm beginning to become very angry with my ex for what she did and how she did it. And yet, I'm strangely feeling guilty for allowing my love to become tainted by hatred. Is it wrong of me to feel such anger toward her?
MrPot Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 No, how you feel is how you feel. If she dumped you, then pull away from her - completely if possible.
gfto Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 When you bump into an ex like that, just be polite and act as though you never dated. Never answer an e-mail from her.
