Guest Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 hi i've been hanging out with this girl i know for a long time now and i've gotten to like her a lot now. we are both 16 and she is very interesting and we generaly have the same interests. anyways i want to get to know her even better but when i talk to her, she seems to be very shy. when we talk, i can feel a connection between us, and it sometimes make me think that she likes me too, but we would sometimes run out of things to say. i want her to know that i like her but i think she is very shy. how can i tell that she likes me and what can i say/do to help her break out of her shell? do girls get shy or is it just me? any advice would help thanx!
lovestruck234 Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Hey, No not all girls get shy, but I am part of the percentage that is! I am getting better but it is a real let-down especially if I'm trying to make a first impression on someone. I'm still friendly, just in an "introvert" way. From a shy girls point of view. When your having a conversation next time with her, ask heaps of questions. (well, you've probably run out of questions at this point). I'm not sure what you've talked about so far but I see you know her pretty well by now. The trick is to find out something that you both can talk endlessly for hours about.... Me and my bf can talk endlessly about motorbikes (since we both ride) but I suppose that's a differnt situation seeing as I've been with my bf for a while. Umm...well, I suppose when you run out of things to say, hook in for a bit of tonsil hockey....lol only joking. Maybe take her to the movies. This is a great way to hang out, yet you when you run out of things to say, you've got the movie there to occupy your eyes for a while. In my experience, the only way I broke out of my shell was when I had sex with my bf for the first time. I was so much more relaxed around him. Lol, once again, different situation. I reckon you should do something together that requires for her to open up a bit. Start off with something a little conservative like bowling...maybe? Then move onto going to the beach or something. I don't know, it depends on your situation. What does she like to do? What are her interests?
