Finally spoke on the phone last night, and that's as far as we'll go, it seems. We had no chemistry... she must've known it too. It's funny how some people are paranoid about giving out their number. She's probably afraid of strange men, which is understandable, so I allowed her to call me, which she did from a blocked number. I'd still bang her, but other than that there's no match. It happens. Thank goodness I'm not young and naive anymore.

But, second time I talked to him, I just knew it wouldn't work. Nothing against him, and I told him that. Just didn't feel any chemistry. No biggie. He called me the next day, about in tears telling me how he is NOT codependent...and that he deserved what I told him. Wha? I didn't say anything other than we didn't have any chemistry. I deleted his other messages without listening to them. How pathetic and weird. But, I am not giving up! My guy is out there somewhere. Good luck to you, Westernxer.

I would like for her to have someting besides a car load of youngins', a drawer full of bills, and a part time job working at WalMart? That would be nice. It would also be nice if she had most of her teeth. knew where the local gym was ~ even better if she went two or three times a week. Not hooked on drugs nor goes to the liquour store more times a year than I do. Wasn't drawying food stamps, welfare, and DSI? Could hold a decent conversation besides something other than some BS TV show. OMG ~ you can read? REALLY! And, you actually pick up something beside Cosmo or some dimestore romance novel every now and again. Someone who's not a religious zealot who actually belives Benny Hine actually cures people every Sunday on TV. Who believes in having sex more than once a year. Chemistry ~ Hell I'd just settle if the had an orginal personality ~ don't think they're suppose to live as though they're married to Donald Trump. I saw one local girl who's 51, and you can tell back in the day, she was all that and then some. And, she's trying to hold back the hands of time ~ but on a good day I'd give her a 7.5 maybe an 8 if she cleans up well. She works as a secertary pulling less than 25K, but to get with her in Alabama you've got to make not less than $75K. Hell the Governor only makes $80K. There's another one 41 ~ whose requirement is that you pull down not less than $100K ~ in freaking Alabama. But, I kind of agree with you about the "chemistry thing" (which I think is WAY over-rated) that's IMHO the single leading cause of the 50% first time marriage - divorce rate. People "settling" for less than their minimum requirements.

(I'm speaking from the male side of the dating game) "Thank God!" for guys such as this! LOL! Makes my job so much easier, and then it makes my job as a man harder ~ because when I come across a woman who's been through five guys like this one ~ five "nice guys", and five "jerks" they're thinking ~ this one's going to be like all the rest. My problem here of late in the dating game ~ is I just want to go out and have a good time, cut up, laugh, etc. I don't want to get serious, I don't want to shack up, I don't want to get married. You take a woman out on a second date ~ BAM! You've got yourself a girlfriend who' s calling you all of the time ~ and who expects you to call her all of the time. I helped one out of a difficult spot ~ coming out of a 23 year marriage, and all I did was pull on my experience, knowledge, and education ~ and she's in love with me??? WTF? Me? I'm single ~ I like being single. I want to be single. I don't want to be married. I don't want to shack up! Hell, I don't even want a steady girlfriend. I've been married, I've shacked up. Been there, and done that! I've got my children grown and on their own. They're doing well. This is my time. Time for me to do, and go where I want, when I want, as I want. Without answering to anyone, etc. I've got the bass boat loaded and ready to go ~ and at O'dark thirty I'm heading for the lake to hook some 5# pounder basss! Yeaaaaaa Baby! And, I don't have to come home to a PO wife or GF, because I wasn't there for her emotionally, etc,...................excuse me! I'm gagging at the thought! I never cheated on the XW nor XGF, I've got more self discipline than that! But, damnit ~ I've got to have some "guy~time" I understand that you don't get camping, hiking the Appalicaian Trail, fishing, hunting, NASCAR, killing a deer, my obession with the Civil War, Civil War re-enactments, guns, cannons. I don't give a damn what color you paint what! If it makes you happy ~ why are you so sad? In so far as I care, you can paint the whole house pink! You sound like you just need to go out with your buddies, instead of getting vulnerable women involved with you.

Then, I got sick of it. Now, I am the splitter. I don't let them get too close unless they jump through my strategically placed hoops first. Gotta pass the test. You could say I am a bit of a challenge. But, it's only cause of guys like you, Alpha.
