o_Omega Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 hi, I have registered here to seek advice from wiser minds than my own, I am in my early twenties, and scared to death that my wife may be cheating on me. We have been married for two years and 18 weeks. I am a very jealous person and am well aware that my suspicions may be pure paranoia. Some nights (like this one) it gets very bad, and all kinds of paranoid thoughts go through my head. My wife has many male friends. This has always been a huge mental problem for me, however I was never able to tell her this - out of fear that she might find out how insecure I really am. There is one of them in particular I hate, and she is often visiting him alone. (They have been friends since childhood.) One incident haunts me in particular. She came home relatively late at night just to go straight to bed, falling asleep nearly without having exchanged any words with me. As I entered the bed hours later, I noticed that her underwear was wet. Pulling them down, I noticed an amount of white-ish discharge leaking from her rectum. It was identical in look and smell to semen. My heart started pounding so hard that it hurt my head, I wiped the stuff away from her butt all the while trying to think logically. I do remember thinking that her anus seemed dilated/open, but this could just as well be my paranoia playing mind tricks on me. (In retrospect, I never asked her about any of this.) (A few weeks later I found a similar white, semen-like substance floating in the toilet (!) after she had used it. That night she had been visiting the same person.) It haunts me nearly every day. My logic tells me that this is natural discharge as all women have, however I have not found much info online and the doubts, when I get paranoid, kills me. She sometimes has white stains in her underwear, however I have read various places online that this is normal. Is my wife cheating on me? Should I buy one of those semen detection sets which are sold online nowadays? Or am I just plain paranoid and/or a huge idiot? (If anyone read this nocturnal ramble at all- kudos to them.)
JadeStar Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 Go buy one of those detection kits. Not sure how accurate they are, but it might be worth a shot. Yes most all women have some kind of discharge but the fact that you have noticed this after she has come back from visiting this other guy is odd. While you were wiping this stuff from her one night, what did she do? Was she alseep? She felt nothing you were doing? She doesn't need to be visiting this guy, childhood friend or not. You need to stand up for your marriage. Jade

SoleMate Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 I don't think that the amateur pelvic/rectal exams are going to get you very far. Even a doctor would not make a judgment about recent sexual activity without a much fuller examination. Although, based on what you've said, I agree that there is plenty of smoke which definitely needs to be looked into. It will be more straightforward and constructive to talk to your wife. Sit her down and ask, "How are you feeling about our marriage? Are you happy with me? Do you feel fulfilled? Do you ever wish we weren't married? Do you feel emotionally close to me? What do you talk about with <male friend>? What are your feelings about <male friend>?" Only do this if you can stay calm regardless of her answers. Then, listen to her. If she turns her head away, won't look you in the eye, tries to end the discussion, I'd be pretty darn worried. If she's a hardcore chronic cheater, she may be able to fool you during the above discussion. Look for reservoirdog's story. Next step, MC.

Dear me, If my girl came home with wet panties and semen leakage coming out of her butt I don't think I could sit idly by. Call me crazy..... How does she act around this other guy, does she seem attracted to him? Im going to go out on a limb and say that you probably are the "nice guy" that she gets security from while she's out getting her jollies with some alpha male. You need to snap out of it and get to the bottom of it and get a divorce, or at least kick her out and go NC for a while. Especially if no kids are involved, your too young for this. Too many men have become emasculated to the point where they will just sit back and tolerate this crap from their wives/girlfriends, unbelievable. Don't be a docile schmuck, act now.
