I have 3 phone numbers given to me by my sister and she asked me to look them up to find out who's they are. I am searching online for the info but everything is expensive and we dont want to buy anything unless it works. They are believed to be cell phone numbers and we know the first name is Tammy. Any ideas?

I do not think you can find cell phone numbers for free. Google "reverse telephone lookup" for landlines...I have also had success simply googling the number.

Reverse look up...general search. I've had mysterious numbers show up on my cell phone that were unrecignized incoming calls that left no message.

The reverse lookup for cell phones only brings up the city, state and carrier. Ie: Manitowac, WI, Verison.

But maybe if the city was small enough you could search the white pages on the net. Might be able to fill in first name and use the * for all in the last name. Would be a mighty big list of names though.

Or, why not just call the number from a different phone. I forgot what you use to block the number, but block it and make up some ruse about verifing last name.

What will having her name and address help with?

*67 to block numbers so they can't see that it's you calling.

Call the numbers. And let us know what you find on the other end. :D
