LikkleMissConfused Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Quick history. Met a guy four years ago just after breaking up with my ex and after my father passed away. Nice bloke wrong time. I went out for a meal with him once and he said said he thought we clashed too much. So I took that as rejection. Later on, my ex asked me to try again, I said yes. We were in town and my ex was very possesive and jealous. He kept on grabbing me kissing and cuddling me. The other guy saw this. The look on his face was gutted and I too felt that way, but thought there was no way we would be together anyway. I soon realised I didn't want to be with my ex and since then I have been single. In the past four years this guy (lets call him Bob) has popped into my life over and over again. Its amazing how it keeps on happening. The last time he did I told him I was with someone and really happy etc etc. Basically I lied I don't know why but I did. Present: Well Last week he popped back into my life again. We spoke and as I had nothing to lose I told him how I felt, the lies I had told him etc. He also told me some stuff and had a go at me for the way I behaved before. To my surprise he asked if I wanted to try. I said "yes". So here we are. Its been very touchy as I have bridges to build with him. All week we have spoken. I sent him a text message last night no response and no response to my email I sent this morning. We have arranged to meet on Friday but I don't know if this will happen. He asked me to remove my profile from a dating site and I did and he has done the same. But I'm not really sure where I stand and if I push too much he gets annoyed with me. So what do I do. I'm not the type to make a huge effort with a guy its always the other way round. I have been spoilt in that way. Please advise me as how I should handle this. For the first time in four years I have a chance with a bloke that was one of my regreat sand I don't want to blow it but I feel empty and that I'm not really getting anything from him as yet. So HELP ME PLEASE
