My_Other_I Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 How hard is it (for men especially) to sleep in the same bed with someone you are dating without having intercourse? We agreed to wait till we both get back from our trips (which is a looooooong time from now) and it sure is hard for me:rolleyes: . What is men's opinion on that?
alphamale Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 How hard is it (for men especially) to sleep in the same bed with someone you are dating without having intercourse? can you do other stuff? like oral or mutual masturbation. if you can do that stuff then it wouldn't be too bad, I guess.
Author My_Other_I Posted July 5, 2006 Author Posted July 5, 2006 can you do other stuff? like oral or mutual masturbation. if you can do that stuff then it wouldn't be too bad, I guess. yeah, that's all good. I'm guessing we will break it anyway. I was just curious why guys agree with that when there are other fish to have full loaded fun with.
SoleMate Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 How hard is it (for men especially) to sleep in the same bed with someone you are dating without having intercourse? It is surely possible, but attempting it is a VERY bad idea. If you are both attracted, it will be very hard to avoid sex. RULE OF THUMB: Do not climb into bed with attractive member of opposite sex unless intending sexual relations.
KnowHowLoveFeels Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 RULE OF THUMB: Do not climb into bed with attractive member of opposite sex unless intending sexual relations. Yes, I agree with this completely. Attraction is a very difficult thing to control.
LikkleMissConfused Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 I think its a very bad idea! I have tried it several times and been unsuccessful. The temptation is just too strong.
Author My_Other_I Posted July 6, 2006 Author Posted July 6, 2006 :D We are still hanging in there, but let me tell ya - no good sleep coming out of that situation. I think we are both getting more frustrated by the minute. We will see how it goes tonight. I have a feeling... I love breaking rules!
BareGoddess Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 H and I decided to not sleep with each other for a few months before our wedding to make our wedding night that much more special. It was almost impossible. But it CAN be done.

BareGoddess Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 did you two think you'd revert back to a virginal state or something?? No, of course not silly! We just wanted the honeymoon to be extra special. And guess what? It WAS!
timidity99 Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 I'd say it's not impossible to sleep next to someone you are attracted to without having sex. It may be difficult but not impossible.
Author My_Other_I Posted July 7, 2006 Author Posted July 7, 2006 My initial interest was that of why guys agree to such a thing. I assumed it's because they are interested enough to pursue deeper relationship than just hangouts and sex. Did I fall off the wagon on this one, guys? We are going to bed now. Keep your fingers crossed:o He behaves better than I do!
