ctallen23 Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 What does that mean in a relationship?? THis girl that I started dating says to me, "Are you the all or nothing type of guy?" I say to her no I am not an all or nothing guy...I didn't even know what she meant by it nor did I ask what she meant. She says, "That is good." so what is meant by this?? thanks.
sacred cow Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 I think what she meant was that either you would do everything there is to do in a relationship like sex and whatnot, give ur everything (heart & soul) or not have a rel. at all...
superconductor Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Sounds like she wants you to allow her to date other guys. Big red flag. Get the facts first though. Ask her what she meant. Like many women, she probably expects you to read her mind.
witabix Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 As it is confusing you, you should definately ask her what that means. I have experienced people using what I consider to be common phrases with obvious meanings that actually meant something completely different to the speaker, usually because they found it necessary to back track on what they were originally saying. Check her understanding of the phrase it may be wildly different from what we here think it means.
