miracgirl Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 How long would you wait to have sex with a girl you liked? How many dates, say you are seeing her once a week? Say she told you she didn't feel comfortable yet and needed you to be patient..how long would you wait?
Curmudgeon Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Doggone ageism! I guess men in their 50s and 60s don't count! And yet we're probably the more patient ones.

I mean, you were in your 30s and 40s once, right? I say either until we are married, or until six weeks has passed from our first date - whichever is the sooner. But the right answer is, of course, "Depends."

Say she told you she didn't feel comfortable yet and needed you to be patient..how long would you wait? I had waited 1 month after the first date for some and some the woman would just do it after 3 dates which could be within the first two weeks. I've learned that patience is a virtue from one ex and had to be patient. Guess it was a test or foolishness. The reward was her. The above happened in my twenties and I am still going thru the 30's.

Say she told you she didn't feel comfortable yet and needed you to be patient..how long would you wait? If I'm only seeing her once a week, I'd probably wait up to two to three months. At this age, I'm busy so many other things, that it's not really a priority that my new date starts giving it up.
witabix Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 It depends entirley on the situation. I just go with the flow. No rules or situational guidelines for me. Over the years it has varied from a month to the first date, with no indication of which is better.
Author miracgirl Posted July 6, 2006 Author Posted July 6, 2006 would you say a guy that is not willing to wait more than a month or so is onlly seeing a girl for sex?
magichands Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 would you say a guy that is not willing to wait more than a month or so is onlly seeing a girl for sex? Not necessarily - just impatient. But that sort of attitude hardly makes a girl feel special. Not to mention pressured!
