Hot means you definitely want to jump their bones, "immediately".

Pretty means they are visually appealing but they don't have that hotness factor that makes you want to have sex with them until/unless their personality comes into play.

When I say someone is beautiful I mean they are beautiful to me on the inside as well as the outside. :)

Alex, YOU are flirting with my MANE man C=Lion! And yes - to use a decriptive word - he is AMAZING.

Agreed, he's "pretty hot"

I believe what is considered *hot* and what is considered *pretty* can vary widely among individuals. Some people may find xxx *hot* while others may find xxx *pretty* or even *unattractive*. There are no set rules for determining what's *hot* or not and debating this is a surefire exercise in futility.

We are all unique individuals with unique tastes...

No one ever calls me 'hot.' I usually get 'pretty' or 'attractive'...or 'beautiful' the other day when I was jogging and this old man was like 'heyyy, you sure are pretty...you're a beautiful girl.'

My Aunty works for fashion and does alot of work in magazines, and even tells me that they PAINT ON some girl's featuresin magazines!! (Legs, boobs, EYES! Etc) And girls are hoping to look like that?? Ok, if they had Mr Squiggle as their stylist!! Lol

Wanna see an example of it first hand. I found this site awhile ago. It's a portfolio for an airbrush artist. When you run your mouse over the image, you get the original photo. They make her thinner, smooth out her skin (including on her hands), shrink her belly button, make her boobs bigger, remove the circles under her eyes... About the only part of the photo that's not retouched is her hair.

I asked a male friend...

"I always thought pretty girls had aesthetically pleasing features. They fit the mould of being attractive in every physical sense, but are often a bit plain.

Hot girls on the other hand, often don't have traditionally beautiful features, but they take what they have got and they work it. They could have dazzling eyes, a lot of energy, a sexy sense of style and usually take alot of pride in their appearance.

I prefer hot girls. They are more exciting :) "

i disagree that pretty females are plain in general. In fact they have much more to offer than probably hot girls who mostly just have the curves and shapes for viewing pleasure...

guys would date hot girls if they are looking for flings or nothing serious ... in the end , they would date pretty girls for the serious relationship.

For me , pretty girls do the trick

hot girls to me are the ones you want purely based on their looks. They're the ones you try to get into bed with the moment you lay your eyes on them.

pretty girls are have the "girl next door" looks, and they have a great personality to match. They're the ones you're usually comfortable with doing anything, from talking to just hanging out.

i go for the pretty girls

Thank you for the link!

OMG! That disgusted me! I just shook my head when I saw it! It really is sad. I'm so against it. I even have stopped buying Cosmo and Cleo etc for that reason. I just can't STAND looking at these porcelin-like girls with not one pimple, visible pore or a single mark on their body!

And their constantly day in day out trying to find a cure for depression, bullemia, anorexia etc. take a look at these magazines and you'll see your answer! The pressure on everyday teen girls and young ladies I find just so dissapointing....

"Pretty" girls all the way! :)
