tinktronik Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 So, I've been absent more and more from the "shack" b/c I have my three boys this summer . Its been really great ,were having a lot of fun.We started a garden in the backyard and also dug a mud pit that's gone over as a huge hit .We've got the pool and slipnslide going and I'm teaching the kids how to play volleyball . I just really felt like sharing that I'm having a good time but miss all of my buddies on here seeing how you all are in fact most of my adult interaction ,but ehhhh' who needs adults. Last night my 7 y/o told my 4 y/o that there was an alien in his throat and that if he wanted the alien to come out he had to sleep with his tongue sticking out all night .And so my little guy did in fact sleep with his tongue out all night ,it was just too funny so I let him get teased a bit , no harm I guess . I don't know when the last time I laughed so hard was .Hope you all are doing good , and I miss you a little tiny bit . -Tink-

I love looking in on my kids when they are asleep. When they are babies, they seem like they're made of 100% pure innocence, then they lose that pretty quickly somewhere along the way in those first couple years. But when I look at them sleeping, I get that feeling again; that's the time they look like they are all innocence again to me... Have a great summer, tink. They are lucky kids to get to spend time with you...
magichands Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Heartwarming stuff. Except that they probably haven't seen any of the Alien movies. He'd be coughing that sucker up so fast...

The little ones do indeed seem to be some form of angel but it ages away pretty quickly .I've noticed in boys and men also that sleep seems to remind others that they are not all snails and puppy dog tails oh and don't forget dirt ,lots of dirt. Thanks trimmer , you have a great summer too.
