cen Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 i'm in sort of an odd situation with a girl that i am very attracted to. i'll need to be vague, but basically she found me online a couple months ago through a music profile i have up on a website... she too is a musician and we both really loved each others work. We've since started working on a joint album together, but are about 2 - 3 hours away from one another so we dont get to see each other all that often with our schedules. however, she's coming to visit me for a week very shortly and we will be spending the most amount of continuous time with one another to date. in our previous meetings i feel like she's been flirty, she's touchy-feely with my and kisses me on the cheek when we meet/part for the day etc.. as well as lots of contact either by phone or e-mail just about every single day. we're both 24, and single, so those components are working ... but i recognize the potential of this music project and don't want to ruin things by bringing up feelings if she does not feel the same way. so i suppose i just wonder where do i even start with all this?? i've reciprocated the flirtiness pretty lightly & sporadically, but i've sort of kept up a bit of distance as i've tried to mentally work out what would be in my/her/our best interest. any advice??? thanks.
superconductor Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 First things first. Keep things cool between you. Finish your project; that's got to be the #1 priority right now. Once it's finished, then re-appraise the situation. If you'll be touring or playing some clubs to support the recording, it would best that you and she not be in a romantic relationship. (Just ask Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart.)
