she broke up with me. she said she wanted to be friends. I can talk to her, i just wont be able to see her agian becuase next year we're going to differnt schools, and i know if i asked her to do something with me even as freinds, she wouldn't want to.

Why did she break up with you? It all depends on the terms you guys broke up on. She may be into doing things as friends but it may take a little time to develop the friends relationship.

Agree with agnf666, you and her being friends would depend on the terms you two broke up on. And in whatever case I think someone would be needing time before he/she can be friends with ex.

Everyone needs time to heal before trying to establish a "Friends Relationship" with there ex. Believe me. Me and my ex have been broke up for about 4 to 5 months now, we talk very little but we are still friends. We broke up on really good terms, so I think that it all depends on the break up!

I agree to that.

My ex (bf for 7 yrs) never became friends until now (it's almost 4 years now after the breakup) and we don't communicate at all because the reason of the breakup is he cheated on me.

My recent ex (bf for almost 2 yrs) we don't talk or communicate as much as we used to when we were still on but we remain best of friends. The reason of our breakup is: we both love each other but we just feel we still feel incomplete despite having each other so it was a mutual decision that we set each other free.

I have a special person in my life now - we are trying to work things out - and I hope he is the one (and will not end up as just one of my ex's :) ).
