all screwed up

iv been dating this guy on and off for 2 years now. the first time we broke up was he just stopped calling and then 2-3 months later he called and told me how much he missed me and how he was an idiot and wanted me back.... so i did. the second break up was similar and same with the next one. every time we dated it lasted about a month longer then the last. so that happend 3 times and i told myself i would never see him again but just recently about 2 months ago he called me and invited me to his cousins birthday party i dont know why i did but i went and it started all over again hes really different then any guy i ever dated and ive never gotten over him, which is odd because i usually get over guys fairly quickly. anyways we talked alot about the past and he said he had matured alot and what not since then and weve had an amazing time together. he would call me or txt me every night, at least. we hung out alot. he told me how happy he was to be with me again and how it would be very different this time. he even talked about bringing me to bc to his cousins wedding next month. about a week ago we were supposed to hang out one day but it didnt work out so he surprised me by showing up randomly at my house. but since then he hasnt called me or anything. i did see him tho a few days ago randomly and he told me he called me the night before altho it never happend to show up on my phone. and he told me he would call me that night.. yet he didnt and hasnt since. he hasnt said anything to his friends about it because i have gone out with them the other night. i know i should stay away from him because he is really screwing my life up right now. but i want to see what the hell is going threw his head and what i should do to figure it out. should i call him and tell him that im coming over so this time unlike the times before he will have to talk to me in person and tell me whats up. what do you think he expected and why do you think hes doing this? any kind of advie would be wonderful. thanx

well by the sounds of it he can't make his mind up what he wants... Its either that or he's just using you. I think he's doing it because there's times when he feels insecure and thers times when he cudn't give a f*** about anyone but himself. He probably expected you to jsut put up with it and go along with whatever he does, but you shouldn't do that... you need to stand up to him and make him listen to what you've got to say.. Tell him how much its hruting you to be arranging things one minute and then being stood up the next.. Its not right for this guy to do this... Get him shown who's boss!
