deepimpact Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Hi guys, Reading a post, i've seen an advice that says "Keep your mind busy", then i realized what i did since my last 3 breakups. My first serious breakup was 7 years ago, i was even engaged with a girl. We broke up and i was told to find something to keep my mind busy , i started training aikido and it really helped, i am now 2. dan black belt aikidoka. My last serious break up was a year ago and 6 months ago i started going to a gym, lost a lot of fat, developed a nice body . Next week, im going to start practicing kung fu... So may be break ups are meant to make us better people. What do you think?
Diver012 Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 My breakup made me realize the sister that I neglected all of these years and taught me the value of family... although Ive been keeping my distance from my parents for a while, for a good reason actually.. im reaching out to my Older Sisiter for the first time in many many years. Thats a good thing Lately ive been getting stalled though... I so desperately want to quit smoking... its so hard right now though. I need to buy that Quit Smoking Now Book... think ill do that today actually...
