Misogyny + Misandry = Extinction Woman-hate •PLUS• Man-hate •EQUALS• Death How DID this species survive this long anyhow knowing how the genders get along & see each other? One bad experience colors the entire now 3,000,000,000-numbered set the same disagreeable color. [See "The 3 Billion Rule (3,000,000,000)"] http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t89191/ It's amazing to me how much we hang onto that old pre-school/kindergarten/grade-school socialization process well into adulthood. ~Girls on this side~ ~Boys on the other~ Shouldn't we have outgrown that by now? When somebody's been wronged everybody cliques up into their gender declaring war on the other gender. Guys talking about using their lovemakers as hatemakers on a woman to "stick it to them". And Girls talking becoming 1849ers digging for gold to "hit 'em where it hurts". Where is this mentality gonna get you? We all know about the Mars/Venus thing so what? We're NOT the same & we ARE different. We DO have things that are common in both of us. Yes men have feelings too. Yes women are not always playing mindgames. All that mentality will do will ensure that the species will come to an eventual end. Continue being fenced into your gender camps & eventually the barbwire fence will close in & strangle you. Let's get this clear right now in case you forgot. Man is NOTHING without Woman. and Woman is NOTHING without Man. It's that simple. Two halves of the same whole. 1/2 + 1/2 = 2/2 = 1/1 = *1* As much as you think the other half is deplorable your existence is interdependant. You continue this attitude & if it takes root enough the species dies. So to avoid this get better understanding about the other half. Discard the mythologies & the fantasies you've built up about how the other half should be. Know that one person or 100 persons isn't a valid representation of all of that kind when that kind numbers 3 Billion. A penny on a dollar or 1% of 3 Billion is 30,000. Thirty Thousand. And we all know that 1% is trace. So quit condemning the entire other gender because of the actions of a trace on trace amount of that genders' population. Even 1% of 30,000 is 300! That's taking a penny & shattering it into 100 pieces. 1 percent of 1 percent! And it's STILL 300! To strike out with 50% of a gender STILL leaves you with 1.5 billion Left! So enough of the gender bashing & vengeful rants about "all men" & "all women". Your bitterness only destroys a part of you. John Lucas

kitten chick Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 The rapid increase in misandry and mysogeny is due to changes in societal behaviors, it's not a natural phenomenon. If it were a natural phenomenon we wouldn't have the explosive population that we have today. Even if everyone were to be a mysogenist or misandrist there is still a natural primal instinct within every living being to get their DNA into the next generation. This is what binds all living creatures. This is yet another reason why preservation of genetic diversity is so important. Bottom line, even if we all hated each other, people would still have sex and reproduce.
