Drivetildriven Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 This is my first time on this site in several months. Here is my recipe and time table for my own success. After three years, my x woman gave the, "I love you but I'm not in love with you anymore." I was pretty depressed for about three months, then I focused on myself and bettered myself mentally, spiritually and physically. Then I started dating again. I dated a few women but nothing really significant. It took a total of eleven months, but I've met someone who fits me even better. She's easily the most attractive woman I dated in every way. I used to pray every day that the lord would send "Pam" back to me. The Lord works in mysterious ways. My new gf's (we've been dating for three months) name is "Pam." So chin up, things will work out for the best, one way or the other. It won't be on your time, but it will happen.
Diver012 Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Congrats! Im happy for you. More than I can tell you. I dont pray for God to bring Angela Back to me. I only pray for him to take the pain of others away. And to guide me.... Ive felt so alone over the past 4 years. Long story but the choices I made caused this. I thought I found redemption recently, but it burned me. Now I feel more alone than ever. There seems to be no escape...
Pantero Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Hey congrats, man! We need these success stories around here. Kind of helps put things in perspective and gives some of us hope.
Author Drivetildriven Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 Hey, thanks. I know I helped cause my old relationship to break down, but those are mistakes I won't make again. I'm not saying my new relationship is going to be it for me (though I hope it is), but she's amazing and it's a definite step in the right direction. It'll happen for you when it does. Whether that be tomorrow or in another four years (hopefully sooner than later of course). Keep on dating good women and sooner or later you'll find her.
Author Drivetildriven Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 Ha! I never thought I'd be the one with a success story on here. I always used to check in to complain and see if anyone had gotten their x back and how they did it. Stories of moving on and finding someone more fitting interested me less, but here I am and it's great. God speed fellas.
