And you guys are absolutely right, wayward spouses can't stand it if when their betrayed spouses put on the airs of moving on! As selfish as it sounds, it is human nature. The strategy of trying to have fun and maintaining no contact indeed works. Wayward spouses love to think their betrayed spouses are sitting at home pining for them while they're out meeting others. All I have to say, going through the crap I did in my divorce, is that now that I've tried to become a loving partner, a more thoughtful partner, and a more considerate partner, I have ZERO tolerance for disrespect and/or cheating. I would never put up with that crap again. No one is at his/her best EVERY SECOND of EVERY DAY. If I'm an overall pretty good person, and someone cheated on me, there wouldn't be any "reconciliation" crap ever again. Good luck everyone involved in a crappy situation now!
