The Riddler: " A woman that is long-term material is way too smart to fall for these childish games."

*That*, alone, should tell a man who/what he's messing around with.

So, if he's messing with it, he *gets what he deserves.*

No ground left to howl and make a complaint.

The more that I read these type of threads, it makes me believe that any guy who has to resort to playing manipulative games like these threads talk about, must not have much confidence in being themselves around women or having confidence in what they have to offer to women. I understand that some guys do lack confidence around women but a ridiculous thread like this one and others is the last thing that a guy needs in order to boost their confidence. Like I have mentioned before on this thread, these type of guidelines will only get you a short-term meaningless relationship. A woman that is long-term material is way too smart to fall for these childish games.

Its pretty simple really. What do women want ? Someone who is SINCERE and does NOT play games.

You like her. You call her. She likes you . She calls you back.

Why all the games ? Why all the books ? Why wait 5 days to call her ?

Who invented this crap ?

Smart women ( and men ) know to show their true selves with someone they are interested. All the rest who play games can get in the back of the line.

men and women did! and this "crap" was invented because of people's past bad experiences and also to protect their own emotions and feelings.

sounds pretty human and logical to me...:)

There's no need to laud unhealthy coping mechanisms. Some people, dissatisfied with their workplaces, go shoot their co-workers. That doesn't mean it should become a recommended solution.

What you do when you've had a failed relationship is realize that there's no 'forumula' to use on people in general. Rather you figure out why you made the bad choice or what you both did that was problematic and then be sure you don't get hooked up with a similar person and that you don't get yourself into similar situations.

You don't make hugely incorrect assumptions about a whole other gender, devise manipulations and other machinations to fake out the other gender, and then tout all this as some sort of miracle cure. Essentially, it's recommending that people become dysfunctional rather than that they do some hard self-examination, some mature analysis, and emerge with a realistic and mature view of life and relationships.

Concluding that 'all women' or 'all men' are anything and then foisting your bitterness on another gender won't end well. It's unhealthy and will continue to land you in unhealthy relationships.

It must be * new * crap because it never happened to me until the last 2 years or so being single. Before that, games were not played and you always knew where you stood with someone.

I understand the part where someone got hurt and puts up a defense mode.

But thankfully alot of women and men are more aware and the game is played at lightening speed instead of dragging on and on because he/she can't figure out they are being fu**ed with sooner, all because its fun or revenge ... whatever ..for that other person.
