How long does it take for it to grow back in?

Hi my barber just gave the sides of my hair a tape up. Its when he shapes it out and gives it a faded look on the sides. But unfortunatly he faded it too light to where u cant see the hairline on the sides to well from a distance. Now i feel bad about the way it looks. Can any of you please tell me how long will it take to grow back in a little bit on the sides so u can see my hair again?
