I was wondering if anyone out there thinks that things really do happen for a reason. Like there is something or someone out there that teaches us lessons that we would not learn on our own. I feel like when I resist change that is when it happens the most...

I completely believe that we learn from EVERYTHING. We as humans are like sponges. We soak up knowledge from everything around us. The good and especially the bad.

I believe that things happen for a reason. Reasons to help us learn and to improve ourselves.

I don't think things happen for a reason. I think we take from our experiences what we choose to take from them.

I heard this great quote the other day, (I think it was Craig McTavish) "The best way to predict the future is to create it." -Your life is based on where you put yourself, and how you approach every situation.

This is just my personal view, but to put faith in fate is to lose the power in yourself. I've learned this over several years of putting false hope into things I thought were "meant to be" but came crashing down. When things are not going your way, you have the choice to remove yourself and put yourself somewhere more positive.
