confused_rep Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 I'm in Field Sales. This has been going on for a few months now. My customer and I have been flirting with each other (we are both married, by the way). Some people notice a change in his behavior each time that I visit his office. During a group dinner, this customer gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Nothing more. I often touch him lightly, on the back or on the arm, when we are talking with each other. Most recently, I tried to give him a friendly hug to show my appreciation. Guess what? He quickly turned away as if to un-hug me. At the end of the dinner, I asked if I could walk him outside the restaurant, and he said no even when I insisted that it was only courtesy for me to do this for a VIP customer. He said, "Do you want me in a bad mood?" What is going on? I am so confused. Is he trying to tell me to back off? That the flirting days are over? What is it? HELP!
