Different people have different tolerance levels. It also depends on things like size and weight. What is micky? You mean like volume?

Just a question out of curiosity.............

...why would one 'want' to pass out?

So they wouldn't have to think about their broken heart anymore, of course...

<G> I'm serious though.

Wake up with the same broken heart and feel like s***. Sounds like piling s*** on top of s***.

Of course I'm speculating on the situation, but the only way to really feel good about yourself is to do things that make you feel good about yourself.

It depends. I can pass out from 4 drinks and not pass out from a bottle and a half of wine. But basically, more than 5 drinks will cause blackouts and a lot of anger.

All of these are considered equal and only one drink

12.0 ounces of regular beer 5.0% alcohol

14.3 ounces of light beer 4.2% alcohol

1.5 ounces of hard liquor such as whiskey 40% alcohol (80 proof)

1.2 ounces of hard liquor 50% alcohol (100 proof)

5.5 ounces wine 11% alcohol

I did google these.. but I was taught this:

1 beer = 1 shot 80 proof whiskey = 3 ounces wine

In either case you can see that it takes about 3 times more wine to equal 1 shot drink

I don't think you are passing out.. you are most likely consuming to the point of falling asleep..

The reason being is that 4 drinks consumed over 2 hours in a 100lb woman makes your BAC only .15.. that is drunk not comatose

OK so used to when I was younger and drank WHOLE LOT more than I do now, I would drink until I couldn't remember anything the next day. I always thought that I had passed out, but I would have friends say to me "Oh that was funny when you did this" or "remember when you did that?" and I woud have absolutely no recolection of doing those things. So I'm guessing I blacked out? Why couldn't I remember doing stuff??

You are correct that you blacked out.. but I don't know the reason why.. but I did find a page that explains it.. the second page is real interesting

http://www.duke.edu/~amwhite/Blackouts/index.html

In fact that page seems to be a real good page for information about alcohol and bac

Interesting..

I had 4 drinks (they were strong) last night (1-limon/coke & 3-Grape Kamakize's) in a two-hour period and I didn't pass out. I also had 1 1/2 hours to sober up before driving home..

I weight between 120-125 lbs.

If I put 3/4 of a bottle of wine down I'm all giddy as hell and my head is flying in the clouds. Wine affects me worse then hard liquor.

I wonder if it has something to do with what the shyt is made out of. Like allergies or sensitivities to certain ingredients or chemicals.

wine has high amouts of sulfites doesn't it?

If you have high mileage on drinking you know your body better (not saying you don't :D ). I've noticed that there are no rules with me, but the more alcohol in whichever form the worse I take it.

The other day I passsed out of 200 ml of vodka, I didn't hear the phone and the door bell. I couldn't believe it.

I'm wondering if you are allergic to something in the alcohol. You shouldn't have effects this bad with such little consumption.

You liver may not be able to handle the alcohol either.

I would go to a doctor and have yourself checked out thoughly before you plan to do any heavy partying. You may just end up killing yourself by accident.

I know this sounds severe BUT --you never know.

Your body maybe having a hard time dealing with the alcohol and needs to sleep (rest) to handle it. I don't think your passing out. I think you are just falling asleep fast and hard due to your body's exhaustion fighting the substance in it.

I would be very careful if I were you.

Your body doesn't like it. You could get a very bad reaction to drinking one day and you won't understand what happened.

Hm... the thing is I drink quite often and sometimes have more than I should. The day when i had 4 vodkas, I went to take a nap, I didn't just pass out. But I don't understand how I couldn't hear anything.

Otherwise I can have more, go to sleep and not remember much from the night before when I wake up in the morning.

I had a friend who was an ex bartender. She could blow fire as it was a regular part of entertainment where she worked, so every time we woudl go out together and get a couple of drinks in her, she would beg the bartend to let her do it. She would dip two fingers in 151 and light it on fire, then ask for the next highest volume alcohol and take the whole shot in her mouth and blow on her hand. It was pretty neato

My body hurts....

I had 4 heavy-duty mixes last night. OMG.. too much dance smoke inhaled, too hot in the dance pit and exhausted myself, smoked to many cigs, and got into a huge dispute with my XH on the frickin sidewalk..

What a damn night.

I love to go out and have fun but alcohol doesn't mix well with some people. My XH is one of them. ARSEBUTTHULE.

I think I have a bit of a hang-over.
