I am absolutely overwhelmed by all of your comments. So, it is with that that I have decided that I won't be around her for a while... but I do promise to report back on my progress soon.

 

I have taken all of your thoughts, view points, opinions (as harsh as some of them are) and advice very seriously. And if some of you don't have hope for my situation... then all I have to say is wait and see.

 

I have faced more challenging things in my life. Hell, I almost gave my entire life up to anorexia. So this is something I know I can tackle.

 

So... I am going quiet for a while and will let you all know how I am doing when I feel stronger.

 

I'd really like to thank all of you for your brutal honesty. It is something that I have needed to hear for a long time. This site has helped me more than you will ever know.

I guess sometimes the harsh truth of a situation hurts.

 

I hope you make the right decisions and really are taking the advice - Yes, harsh, but useful - to heart. You don't have to prove anything to anybody here on Loveshack, but you do owe your husband that truth and honesty. And to yourself as well.

 

Good luck and don't be afraid to seek therapy to help you through this.

I wish you would stay. There are so few WS who dare to venture onto here and those that do invariably get flamed. But us BS get flamed here too and many people have left because of it. I left for a while because the reality is people are not too interested in complex issues, like someone trying to get out of an affair or someone struggling to stay in a compromised relationship. There are too many people who are quick to make judgements and jump in with black and white statements.

 

I for one, found your posts really helpful to me. Please come back soon.
