So I am a graduate student and recently started flirting with one of my lecturers. In my defence he is the youngest lecturer there and 8 yrs my elder. Anywho I am actually not sure who started it, he is just the friendly flirty type and I guess I am too.

It had always before been innocent flirting, to make you smile as our work is time consuming and stressful. Recently however I realise we are doing a bit more than your basic flirting. Not much more mind you, but still there is a difference.

Yes I do find him attractive, and his intelligence is attractive, but I am usually straightforward in these situations and have a good working relationship with my lecturers period.

Here however, not that it is distracting me from my work, but it is come to the point where neither of us know whether we crossed a line or not.

I am single at the moment and dating leisurely when I have the time, but no serious relationship.

He isn't married or in a relationship at the moment, but still the stigma is attached.

We've explored each others lives, families, interests- if he wasnt my lecturer I would say it was the beginning of a beautiful relationship\friendship. He is, so Im not sure what to think of it.

Anyway, opinions I will welcome, as I just want someones take on this,

thanks,

A.
