Hey everyone, my boyfriend and I have been together for about 2 1/2 years -- on and off. The thing is I'm only 22 and he is 26 I love him a lot but I feel like i'm missing out on life. I can't do anything without him asking me 101 questions. Like who was there, what time will you be home blah blah blah. And if i'm home a little bit later then I said he gets really mad at me and talks my ear off about it for like an hour -- even if I call and tell him I'm gonna be longer than I thought. I mean who wants to go out with their friends for only an hour? I believe he loves me and I love him, but I just feel like I'm gonna look back on this when I'm 40 years old and wonder why I let him do this to me. This is only my 2nd relationship so I'm not sure if this is normal? Do couples usually spend all their time together? I'd really like some feed back.

Thanks

Don't base your relationship on others'. Beas it on your feelings. Apparantly you fell stifled. It's normal and happens often. Tell him you need some space. Do you live together?

Maybe try not seeing him for a day or two.

You need to talk to him about it and explain how this is making you feel. I went through the same thing before with my live in boyfriend and unfortunately he turned physically violent down the road. Not saying yours will but it started out this way so be careful.

CONTROL FREAK. I was in a similar situation, but my ex is much older then I. I am around your age and dated him for the same amount of time. If I were you, I would say that things aren't working out and you need your space. Make up whatever you have to to get out of the relationship. Yeah, I can see it now and it is the same way my ex is, that he will control you, control who your friends with, control where you go etc. Then domestic issues come about and you don't need that.

You are young and you should date men, be around friends, meet different people, explore life. Don't settle for this one, he sounds to me like a bad seed. Move on sister and keep us posted.
