babygirltamara Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 I met my boyfriend back in December..we became good friends and started dating in March. Going into this relationship I knew he would at some point be leaving to school in Michagin (horrible speller) for three months at a time and then returing back to new mexico. He will be leaving in the begaining of July and this is the first realy long distance relationship I will be in...I know it's only three months and when he leaves we will be dating now for four months..our relationship is great but I am a lil concered about when he leaves. I have faith in our relationship and in us that we will make it through and I have trust in him so I am not worried about him cheating on me...although I do want some help. I want to know what we can do to help adjust to not seeing eachother anymore one he does leave and ways to keep our relatinship strong will he is at school. So for those of you who are currently in a LDR..if you have any advice...I would greatly appricahate it..Thank You
norajane Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 I'd recommend talking with him and making sure you're both on the same page with your expecations of this relationship...talk about specifics like how you will communicate with each other, and how often you will see each other while he's away. Most important, make sure you both agree on what 'cheating' is and isn't. Good luck!
