too_nervous Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Right, some of you might not beleive this. im 23 and i have never had a girlfriend. so obviously i am still a virgin. ive asked a few girls out but never had any success. i havent got any self-confidence and i am wondering if i am alone in this situation. im not really complaining about my life because i do enjoy my life but i must admit sometimes i do get very lonely and i do wonder what it would be like to have a partner. am i strange? Daniel
KittenMoon Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 I knew/know plenty of guys your age in this situation. Several of them are finally coming into their own and finding themselves dating. Just keep trying.
Author too_nervous Posted June 1, 2006 Author Posted June 1, 2006 Many Thanks. i will keep trying but i havnt got any self confidence anymore due to the amount of rejections. Daniel
KittenMoon Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 I definitely have a friend like you, but 1-2 years older. Rejection after rejection after rejection, all through college and beyond. But he just landed his first GF a few months back, so it does happen. It does.
blue16 Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Try online dating. Even if you don't plan on going out with lots of girls, it's a great way to build confidence.

Guest Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 i'll be 23 in august and im pretty much in the same boat as you except i have not really been rejected time after time. It's probably because we are shy but im getting better at talking but i have little experience in relationships. Here's my advice start working out and reading books find something that can be a hobby and work on becoming confident it seems to be working for me.
