viktress Posted October 30, 2001 Posted October 30, 2001 This seems like a joke of course. But I have known this dilemma. I had sex for the first when I was 21. Just keep in mind that sexual freedom does not, in itself, bring happiness. Try not to obsess on it. I assume you aren't that well connected socially. This should be remedied first. Join a club, any club. Or a singles group! I went to a Catholic church singles group that meets every Monday night and it was terribly cool. Everyone was authentic and not entirely well adjusted. But the good ones are often lingering on the peripheral. I assume you are on the peripheral also. Unless, you're like 15. This might be a waste of time. Good luck anyway!

In this study 100% of the people who had sexual intercourse lost their virginity. Based on those statistics, I think if you had sexual intercourse with someone that you would have a very good chance of losing your virginity too, but there are no guarantees. Anyone contemplating losing their virginity should be aware that there are numerous STDs (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) that they could be exposed to while losing their virginity. One could also be exposed to STDs when having sexual intercourse after losing their virginity. Please take the time to read about STDs before engaging in sexual activity. Also, read about unintended pregnancy. It is very important to be educated and aware of these two issues before having sexual intercourse with someone.
