visotech Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 Does everyone here date in search of a relationship or also in the search of a good time? What i mean to ask is that if you know repeated dates with someone you totally enjoy aren't going to end with you two togather - is it worth it? would you still do it? I'm in a situation where I met a girl and we just "clicked"...the only thing is shes moving away in a few weeks...its ok to still have a good time with her and try not to get too attached rite?
IrishCarBomb Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 Ya know... all that philosophy wisdom that is thousands of years old that says "it's not the ending but the journey that is important" might actually be onto something. Then again... what do those guys know? I mean... they lived over 1,000 years ago. They couldn't possibly understand anything that would apply today..... right?
Alexandra-Girl Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 I say go for it. Have a good time. Enjoy each others company. Who know's that when the time comes for one to leave, that the other might just want to stick it through if it isn't permanent. Look at so many relationships out there that are distance situations: school, work, military -- they all include distance, and they do work if you put the effort into it. Good-luck, Alexandra
