Jojaby Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Let me tell you a few things first about why I suspect hubby is keeping secrets. He drives a log truck for a living. A few weeks ago he came in from work on a Friday and said he had to work Saturday. Yet he brought his paperwork in the house to fill out and turn in Friday night. Normally if he would have had to work on Saturday he would have turned it in Saturday night. I called him on it and he lied and said he just forgot and that I was right. Saturday morning he left for work around 5 a.m. and came in around 11 a.m. When I asked him how many loads he'd gotten he said none because someone's truck broke down. This was on a day after a big huge rain and normally if you drive out in the woods like that after a flood you're going to come back with your truck muddy. His was clean. I asked why his truck was clean and he claims he found a sand hill to park on. Plus I've been catching him in a lot of little lies about other things too. The thing is he's been married 5 times already and I feel he's became a pro at this and he's going to be really hard to catch. My question is this - last night I noticed on the TIVO that he'd gotten up and recorded a show around 1 a.m. I decided to hit redial on the phone to see if any calls had been made because I knew my mom was the last number called. I found 321654987 on the phone (which is all three rows backwards). This to me seems like a cover up - like he dialed all these numbers to cover up the one he did call so if I hit redial it wouldn't show who he really called. Does anyone know if there's any way (free) that you can find out say the last few numbers called on a phone. I went to my phone companies web site but all they show is long distant numbers called last.
Chump64 Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 I'm not sure if this will help or not. You can look up phone numbers here (assuming they are listed numbers): http://www.anywho.com/rl.html Bug your own home phone. It's really pretty easy. Stick a phone recorder at one of the extension phones that's rarely used. Put a voice activated recorder in his truck. Good luck.

It's hard to tell with phone companies being all different these days, but I think if you call up your phone company and ask for a local print-out, they will do it for you once for free. Tell then you were questioning the amount (if it changes each month) or something like that and you wanted to verify the calls. Then you will see that 321654 thingy, your Mom's number and what, if anything is in between.
