VonDutch Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Hi everyone, I have been with my boyfriend for nearly 9 months now. Before me, he had a serious relationship with a girl I'll call Anna. She cheated on him, they broke up, he met me, and after about 2 months we were in a serious relationship. He had her photo in his wallet untill about 4 months into our relationship. I then commented on it and he took it out, claiming he didnt realise it was still in there. Now, a few months later, we're out and he says to me: Hee Anna, what do you want to eat? (My name does NOT resemble hers AT ALL!) so I got a bit upset. He said he was sorry right away, and that he loves me, doesnt want her, is not thinking about her etc. that it had just slipped his mind because we were talking about ex's a few hours before. Then, the next day, we have a party, over at one of his friends houses. There were loads of photo's of my bf with his ex hanging in this friends house and it made me a bit uncomfortable. My bf then wanted to talk to me about he was feeling (he was upset after seeing the photo's) but I was to pissed off to talk... Long story short, I dont know what to do. I was sure he was over her, but now Im not so, although he keeps reassurruing me that he is. I know he still talks to her online and that he has thought about inviting her around to talk, but she doesnt want to. What should I do? He had tried so hard to reassure me the past few days but Im just not that convinced. I dont want to whine at him over this, but Id really like some imput as to how to deal with this. Should I just forget it? Should I just trust him? Coz right now Im having a hard time doing so. Thanks....
