Guest Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Our parents dont know we are married and are getting married for them for the "first time" in Vegas. We already have a marriage license. How do we get around this obstacle?
sazzya1987 Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Our parents dont know we are married and are getting married for them for the "first time" in Vegas. We already have a marriage license. How do we get around this obstacle? I think its best to tell them, they don't want to find out you hid it from them, if they find out.
Solachica Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 They think you are getting maried so tell them tht you are already married. Wud they be angry tht you guys got married and they didn't know?
HokeyReligions Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 You could try telling the parents the truth. ..... Ditto .....
RecordProducer Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 You didn't explain the circumstances. You must have had a reason to not tell them. Are you too young or are you in bad terms with your parents? After all, it's your life. Just call them and tell them you got married. If they ask for the reasons why you didn't tell them, tell them the truth. I have a feeling that you guys got married despite of them being against it, you're too young, and now you need money from your parents. Oh, I know that whenever something is unclear to me - I think money!
radiation7740 Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 I assume you are adults. What's the worst that could happen if you tell your parents that you got married? Are they going to spank you or lock you in your bedroom? Probably not. There's no reason for you to be afraid of how they'll react. Even if they don't approve of the marriage there's nothing they can do. There's no law that says you have to get your parent's permission before you marry.
tikigods Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 old enough to get married then you are old enough to face up to your parents and tell them the truth
