clovermonster Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 my boyfriend seems to be picking up the pieces for his EXW of 10 years. she calls when she needs help (financially, emotionally, etc). my bf is a very kind hearted man whom i adore in every possible way...he would give the shirt off his back to help another... and i love this in him... * she called him out of desperation and asked him to fly to the west coast to move her out of her bf's place and help her find another place...he was seriously considering going...i voiced my opinion and he has decided to stay here with me... the fact that he was willing to go right off the bat...bothers me * i am uncomfortable with the reliance his exwife has upon him and his availability to her needs....i feel that she abuses his kindness...i also wonder if certain vows taken in matrimony are still being honored - post divorce....i know my man is my man...i trust him and love him...i feel discomfort, confusion and a slew of other things about the relationship that he still holds with his exwife... i think being cordial is one thing....but i feel this borders co-dependency. * it's not the flower, it's the roots that concern me. * comments, questions, concerns?
