MadDog Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Well everyone, all good things must come to an end and so too ends my time on LS, at least for now. I have a lot of work to do in the next year or so and I simply can't afford to come on here anymore; you know how you intend to only spend 10 minutes on here but it ends up being more like an hour. It made for good breaks but breaks will be few and far in between for a while. I initially came on here because I thought it'd be fun to give my perspective on relationship issues and maybe help a person or two out. I realize my views can be somewhat contraversial (mostly because I don't pull any punches) but I feel I did more good than harm on here and that's all you can ask for from an anonymous poster on an internet message board, right? Ironically, instead of giving advice like normal, I ended up requesting advice from some of you when I dated a girl for a couple weeks. I'm really good at reading people, girls included, but she really had me baffled. Your opinions were definately helpful and appreciated. The lesson I already knew but relearned from her was, "always assess a person's motives through her actions and not her words." Just remember that settling for anything less than happiness in a relationship is crazy. Of course, even the best relationships has it's bad moments but make sure your relationship has way more good than bad. If you have to actually sit there for more than a few seconds and calculate whether there's more good than bad, it might be time to reevaluate your relationship and whether it's worh it. There's nothing wrong with hitting the eject button to seek true happiness. Good luck to everyone on here. Nah, seriously, it's been cool reading your posts and getting to know abit about you. Take care and don't stay away for too long. LS is addictive, so maybe you just need to learn how to pace yourself??? I don't know! But hopefully you'll be back! Be good and enjoy life.

If I don't go to the grocery store or do the laundry cuz I was on LS, I can do it later, but I figure you're at university so you really don't have a minute to lose. It's a good decision you made. You'll have time for LS when you finish school - you'll type from work while pretending that you're working when your boss passes by, just like everybody else here. Or you will the boss pretending to be doing some important emails. In case you feel like breaking it the "diet", make a schedule to be here, for example, only on Friday morning before you go to school. The reason why I say BEFORE school is because you will have to stop at a certain time, otherwise you'll be late for school. But if you do it after school, you might be missing your studying or in the evening you might be missing sleep. Good luck with everything and please don't forget us, dude!

Thanks everyone for the well-wishing. I'll keep you guys in mind, especially if I date another confusing chick or something. On second thought, I'm going to try to avoid those mixed signal chicks. My criteria for girls I'll date get stricter and stricter. Eventually there will only be one girl on earth that will qualify for a date. Take it easy LS peeps.
