Did he just change the subject on you? Most likely he has someone on the side but likes you so he doesn't want to tell you about it.

actually, i think it's the opposite. If I like someone and ask him if he's seeing anyone else, I WOULD get discouraged if he doesn't respond.

 

If some guy I liked asked me if I am seeing anyone else, I would be glad to tell him that I'm not (so maybe we CAN go out). You see what I am getting at?

Of course, I can't speak for every guy, but in the past when I got asked this by "friend girl" I was attracted to, FOR SOME STUPID UNKNOWN REASON, I didn't feel like answering it. Personally, I just wanted to avoid going there because I was attracted to her, she was just a friend, and well...it just didn't sit right with me so I laughed it off. It felt awkward and that's most likely why I avoided it. She never asked after that.

 

Was she attracted or just curious? Well, I'll never know. She's dating one of my...friends now.

By not saying anythign he neither confirms nor denies that he is dating someone. Keeping the door open.

 

Reality----he is dating someone and probably does not see it as long term. But does not want to tell you that a-he is dating outright and b-does not want to say it might not be long term because if it gets back to her it will spell problems.

 

Hang tight and keep in touch if you like him as well. He knows you have some level of interest and if and when they break up, I am sure he will be calling you
