PeanutHead88 Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 The heavier the period? the more emotional you are? that seems to make alot of sence to me? does it to you??
KittenMoon Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Doesn't make sense to me. I have gotten far more emotional as I have gotten older, while my periods have gotten lighter. The hormones change as you age, pre-pubescent to teens to twenties, and beyond. I don't think flow is any gauge for emotions.
Outcast Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Nope. Emotions are affected by hormones. The amount of blood flow is more governed by heredity and anatomy. You are right to connect some emotions with the menstrual cycle but for the wrong reason. The emotional level of someone in PMS may not relate to her emotions when not PMSing.

I agree with KittenMoon. You'd probably have more of a response if you place this in the Sexual & Reproductive Health and Practices section of the site. You might want to ask a mod/admin to move it for you.
