I'm not, and most of my friends aren't either. Of course not. Looks are not the only factor, but they are a MAJOR factor with both sexes. I think a skinny guys (below average weight for his hight) are treated the same as overweight girls. Skinny guys DO date and get married, just as fat girls do. But their dating possibilities of both are limited, regardless of their personalities. On the other end of the scales are the very buff guys and thin girls with big boobs. If their personalities suck, they're no good for long term relationships, but they have no problem finding people to hook up with them in the short term. But if you're not "hot" in the eyes of the opposite sex, LTRs can be difficult to acheive because you have to establish short-term attraction first. The sad part is that many (but not all) people are willing to put up with a lot of crap if they think their partner is hot. I don't think it's true that women are attracted to jerks - it's just that if a guy is hot, it doesn't matter to many woman that he's a selfish jerk. That would explain all the couples I see on Judge Judy & Dr. Phil who put up with all sorts of crap from their partners while women lose interest in me over minor social faux pas. People can be really dumb when choosing partners. It seems like where I live the owmen who aren't dumb about this are all in relationships already

Just refuse to sleep with a**h***s anymore, so that slims down the picking substantially. Why is it that the women who are tired of dating a**h***s and the men who are tired of hitting on bitches have such trouble finding each other?

If I were to know the answer to that, I would not still be single. If you ever figure it out be sure to send the answer my way. Perhaps the problem is that bitches are flashy and catch the eye and a**h***s are charmers....so even when you don't intend to date an a**h***/bitch sometimes you're still sucked in. I think of it kind of like if you're looking at a rhinestone and a opal, the rhinestone catches the eye right away, but the opal has a subtle beauty that is present both on the outside and the inside. Although the rhinestone has an immediate flashing beauty on the outside, the inside of the rhinestone is just clear glass. In the end which one is more valuable? The opal, which is never noticed right away. That's my insightful comment of the day.
