Where to go from here?

So, there is this girl I've been interested in for a few weeks, and recently have started to get to know her. We've been having some really amazing conversations that just feel sooooo right, in between classes, but there really isn't much time for us to finish them. During our last one it felt exactly right for me to ask her out at least to dinner but I really had no plans setup in advance. Since we're both athletes and soccer players I was wondering if it would be a good idea to take her to watch a soccer match or something related to soccer and then out to lunch/dinner afterward. It would be more effective than a movie since we could talk during the game, but not as romantic as straight dinner at a nice restaurant, more of a casual thing, which I personally think she would enjoy. The only problem is that in the U.S. there are few professional matches and I cannot think of a similar event to go to. Three questions then. Since we don't know each other very well, would it be appropriate for me to ask her out? Second, would this work as intended? Third, any ideas for something she would enjoy that's soccer related? Thanks, any advice is much appreciated.

Well if it were in Europe... We have quite the selection of football (yeah soccer to you) bars, football museus, clubs you could visit. Maybe if you do a search you'll find something around your area too.

Now that's the million dollar question, isn't? You'll have to try and see, there are no guarantees;) However I think the soccer idea could well work so good luck.

Thanks Alexandra. Yes, I sort of despise the U.S. for some things. *cough* Bush. The lack of soccer/football is annoying as well. Europe here I come . Thanks again.
