My_Other_I Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 My friend asked this guy out on Monday. He took her # but hasn't called yet. I say he will call, since her question was "would you wanna go out sometime". He said he would like to for sure. So what does that mean? Why hasn't he called yet - it's now Friday? I heard from his friends that he had been interested in her for a while now and that he is very shy. Why in the world wouldn't he call if that was the case? Men, any insight? Thanks!
MadDog Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 If he's shy, he might be too afraid to call. Why doesn't your friend just go out with a guy who isn't too shy to call her up?
Tim'sAngel Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 Have you eve rread that book "He's just not that into you?" IF not, you should!! I say if a guy really wants to call, he will call.
tanbark813 Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 It could be a few things: 1. He's too scared to call and keeps psyching himself out of it. 2. He wants to play it cool and is holding off since she said "sometime". 3. He's busy this weekend and figures he'll wait until next week to call and set something up. 4. He's not interested. For future reference, it's always better to invite someone to something/somewhere with a specific date and time in mind. It eliminates a lot of the guessing/waiting.

I'm guessing she will now:cool: She gave him her # with the understanding that he will call. C'mon, this is not shy, it's dumb. If he was shy than he is a lost cause - how many more hints does he need? She asked him out! I'm starting to think he is not interested and was too weak to say no. Has anyone waited a week to call?
