Jewel Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 I'm going to try cut a long story short... I've caught my bf of 3 months lying to me - quite a few times already actually! Anyway, he has promised to be honest after the last time - which i truley believe he has... I think i made the mistake of getting angry with him tonight for being honest and scared he might resort back to lying to me! He told me of his ex of 6 years (been apart 2 years now) sending him a msg today... and i got upset! Half reason being, i was engaged before and he told me to stop all contact with my ex... we were only together for about a year and i called the engagement off! What's one year compared to 6?????? And what makes it ok for him to keep in contact?
agnf666 Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Honestly. He seems liek the jealous type in a way. Wants you to not talk to your ex but thinks it's okay to talk to his. If there isn't kids involved or they weren't married then there is absolutly no reason to talk to your ex's. That just brings back memories and feelings you should no longer have. You need to ask him what is going on, tell him since you cut all contact with your ex, you expect him to do the same. Since he is lieing about the whole thing I would be very careful.
