Tim'sAngel Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 I have noticed since I've had my son a year and a half ago that nothing about me is the same!! I am not an emotional person at all, yetI find myself getting depressed and ready to cry for no reason!! I get hot flashes out of nowhere, especially when I'm upset about something, to the point where my SO and roomie are begging me to turn the air up because its freezing, yet I'm in a sweat!! I'm lethargic, I get weak at a certain time of day, where I start to shake and get really dizzy. Not even sex is the same!! What is wrong w/me?? Is it Hormones? Am I just not eating right or getting enough excersize?? Is this normal after having children? AM I GOING INSANE!!!???
Sassy Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 I was like that for a while too. I was breast feeding and not eating right . The baby was getting all my nutrients. Are you breast feeding? Being a first time mom can be exhausting with the nighttime feedings no sleep. Can make your body out of whack . Along with the stress as well. Can you get someone to take your son and keep him over night? You need a break . Maybe go get your hair done or a massage. Then get your man to take you out on the town. Stress can make your body do crazy things.

My baby is a very good child, he weened easily, is a good eater, obeys me very well, however he has entered into his little bratty stage and is throwing fits more often, and I've noticed thats when I start feeling all out of sorts. I severely need a break, but I just moved to a different city and dont' know anyone here to watch him.
