  1. When you're at a party and you see your SO talking to other people, you immediately hop up from your seat and rush over there to see what they are talking about.
  2. When your SO hugs one of their friends you jump into their arms afterwards and make them hug you too.
  3. When your SO's friends call them over to join their group, you immediately call your SO back to you.
  4. You see your SO talking to their friends so you txt them in the middle of the conversation.
  5. You hang on your SO, pull them around by the arm, and basically cling to them like saran wrap, but you're SO seems somewhat indifferent towards your actions.

Is this an example of extremely clingy behavior? Is this the way someone who is possessive acts?

Yes and no. Could be that person is just so wanting to be part of the crowd, they never want to be left out of the fun and conversations.

Yes and no, depending on the situation...But it sounds like that person is insecure or has trust issues...

Yes! That's controlling behaviour and jealously to boot! Or, once again, can't stand NOT being the centre of attention...

You see your SO talking to their friends so you txt them in the middle of the conversation.

Controlling and not wanting your spouse to have fun unless you're there. Trust issues!

You hang on your SO, pull them around by the arm, and basically cling to them like saran wrap, but you're SO seems somewhat indifferent towards your actions.

Jealously and honestly, the signals that clinging sends off to others is offensive! Means, backoff, this person is MINE and I want everybody to know it too! And yes, it's insecurity, not wanting to share the spouse too.

Yes and yes.

Okay, so what's going on in your life? Obviously this is first hand experience with your partner!

None of them alone could definately be put down to possesive behavior, but together, they certainly add up to it to me!! :)
