simple_man Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Well I just came out of a 4 year relationship with my ex-fiance, where there was a child involved and it's been probably the hardest time in my life, but I'm moving along and healing......but the main reason i'm on here is I am just starting to move on and trying to get back into dating and I have a blind date coming up, LOL....well, not really a blind date, we both know what each other looks like but we have never met, and we've talked on the internet and texted each other back and forth and have hit it off through that communication for like the past month or so.....and we are going to hook up here soon. But to tell you the truth I am scared s***less....its been forever since i've been on a date with a new girl and trying to bring up conversation with a girl I have never met seems like it will be hard and it seems like through past experiences some girls don't think I am interested because i'm so laid back and a little shy, anybody have any pointers to making this be more fun than awkward? p.s. I know the number one rule already.....DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT TALK ABOUT YOUR EX, LOL
