noclobber Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 My female friend purchased tikcets for both of us for the upcoming Pearl Jam concert in July. When I asked her to tell my share so that I can write her a check she surprised me by saying that its a gift for my birthday (my b'day is in july). I was kinda shocked 'cos I know that the tickets are quite expensive ($110). I asked if she was sure and she said yes. I got her some small gifts for her b'day so I am wondering whether she is trying to settle the score. The gifts that I got her were definitely not anywhere near the ticket costs. I don't know how exactly to react now... I don't even know if its okay to accept such an expensive gift from her... any thoughts?
mini696 Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 She likes you. Take the tickets and have fun at the concert. Where abouts will you be seeing them? The tickets for the concert in Brisbane (Australia) only go on sale tomorrow and the concert is in November.
